Mission:

At Spring Start ABA, our mission is to provide compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services to support the unique needs of each young learner. We are dedicated to meeting children where they are—empowering them to grow!

Who we support:

We provide home-based ABA therapy to children ages 1-8 in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake, Virginia. This includes direct therapy, parent/caregiver training, consultations, and collaboration with other providers the child is working with. A referral from your doctor will be required for services.

What we do:

We can support communication deficits, improve social skills, expand attending skills, broaden daily life skills, and develop individualized behavior interventions. We currently only provide in-home services, meaning that sessions will occur in your child’s most common environment (their home!).

Learning more about ABA:

ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is an evidence-based approach to understanding and supporting behavior. Progress is monitored closely using data collection to determine best practices for your child. Non-evidence-based practices cannot and will not be recommended or implemented during treatment.  

We’re new (kind of):

BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) owned and Virginia Beach grown, Spring Start ABA was established in the Fall of 2025. While the name is new, the provider and compassion for children is not! Our founder has almost a decade of experience in the field of ABA and has been supporting children with various abilities since 2012.
